1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Cnnex Limited Company handles information when you use PassSnap, including the iOS app, website, local export features, and optional AI final verify.

PassSnap is designed so the basic capture, crop, preview, and export workflow can run locally on your device. Optional AI final verify requires an explicit upload consent step.

2. Information We May Collect

• Photos and derived crops if you choose optional AI final verify or another cloud feature.
• Photo metadata needed to process a verify job, such as selected spec id, background mode, app version, local check results, and job id.
• Purchase, credit, or entitlement data needed to unlock paid features.
• Support messages and contact information if you contact us.
• Website analytics such as page views, referral pages, device type, and approximate region.

3. Local Processing

The core iOS workflow is intended to process capture guidance, crop preview, local checks, and export on your device where possible.

Using the basic app workflow does not automatically mean your photo is uploaded to PassSnap servers.

4. Optional AI Final Verify

If you choose AI final verify, the app may upload the processed image, original crop, selected spec, local check summary, and consent record to PassSnap backend systems.

AI verify may use third-party AI providers to analyze glasses, expression, ear or facial-edge visibility, crop risk, and background artifacts.

AI verify is optional and separate from the basic download flow.

5. How We Use Information

• To provide capture, export, and optional AI verify features.
• To generate structured verify reports and user-facing risk guidance.
• To process purchases, credits, refunds, support requests, and service messages.
• To improve reliability, security, abuse prevention, and product quality.
• To understand website performance and landing-page conversion.

6. Retention And Deletion

Photos uploaded for optional AI verify should be kept only for the retention window shown during consent, with a default target of 7 days or less unless a longer period is required for support, legal, or abuse-prevention reasons.

We plan to provide deletion controls for AI verify assets. Operational logs may be retained longer when they do not contain the raw face image.

7. Sharing

We may share data with service providers that help operate PassSnap, such as cloud hosting, object storage, AI model providers, analytics providers, payment processors, and customer support tools.

We do not sell your face photos. We require AI processing providers used for verify to follow the data-use restrictions shown in the consent flow.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards for the service, including private storage for uploaded verify assets, short-lived upload links, and access controls.

No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

PassSnap is not intended for children under 13. Passport or ID photos for minors should be managed by a parent or legal guardian.

10. Your Choices

• You can use the base local workflow without choosing optional AI verify.
• You can decline upload consent for AI verify.
• You can request deletion of eligible uploaded verify assets.
• You can contact support about access, deletion, correction, or privacy questions.
