These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of PassSnap, including the iOS app, website, local package export, StoreKit purchases, optional iCloud backup, optional AI final verify service, optional AI beauty files, and related features provided by Cnnex Limited Company.
By using PassSnap, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
PassSnap helps users prepare passport-style and ID-style photos with guided capture, country-specific crop rules, local export, optional white-background processing, optional AI final verify, optional AI beauty files, and print instructions.
The current app supports selected official photo specifications for the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, and Hong Kong SAR. Other countries, unverified immigration/local ID routes, resume photos, and print-by-mail fulfillment are roadmap items until they are made available in the app.
PassSnap is not a government agency, passport authority, visa authority, or official approval service. Final acceptance is always determined by the receiving authority.
We provide product guidance based on selected photo specifications, but requirements may change and may be interpreted differently by the receiving authority.
Country-specific rules may differ. For example, U.S. passport mode treats eyeglasses as high risk, while Hong Kong SAR mode does not automatically reject clear eyeglasses unless lenses are tinted, eyes are blocked, or glare affects eye visibility.
You are responsible for reviewing your final image before submission, choosing the correct country or document type, printing at the required size, and deciding whether the photo fits your intended use.
The base app workflow may process capture, crop, preview, package generation, print layout, print instructions, and history locally on your device.
AI final verify is optional. If you choose to use it, images and related metadata may be uploaded to server-side systems for analysis after an explicit consent step.
AI final verify can report risks such as country-specific glasses or lens rules, expression, ear or facial-edge visibility, background issues, crop, size, and print metadata. It does not guarantee acceptance.
AI beauty is optional and separate from the official photo package. If you choose it, the processed image may be uploaded to server-side systems to create a separate enhanced single photo, and the app may generate a matching enhanced print layout. AI beauty does not replace original or AI white-background package files.
AI beauty files are included with the saved package only after the package download is unlocked. AI beauty payment alone does not unlock saving or sharing of the full package.
PassSnap can store photo package files on the device by default. If you delete the app before enabling backup, local photo package files may be lost.
Optional iCloud backup copies eligible package files and the recovery code into your private iCloud Drive container. iCloud availability, storage, syncing, and Apple ID access are controlled by Apple and your device settings.
Backend recovery code restore can recover eligible purchase entitlements and AI verify records for matching package records. It may not recover original photo files unless those files still exist locally or were backed up to iCloud.
Digital features in the iOS app use Apple StoreKit where required. Package unlock, optional AI verify, and optional AI beauty are separate per-package or per-run purchases shown at the time of purchase.
A package unlock applies only to the selected saved photo package. It permits repeated saving or sharing of that package's available files, but it does not unlock other photo records.
An AI verify purchase applies to one AI verify run. An AI beauty purchase applies to one AI beauty run. These add-ons do not grant package download entitlement and do not apply globally to other packages.
Except where required by applicable law or expressly required by Apple or another payment platform, paid amounts are non-refundable once the paid feature, export, credit, AI verification service, or AI beauty output has been delivered, consumed, or made available.
PassSnap may generate print layouts and print instructions for home printers or photo labs. You are responsible for selecting the correct paper size, scale, finish, and print settings.
Print-by-mail fulfillment is not active in the current app. Any future physical mail service will require separate ordering, shipping, support, refund, and privacy terms before it is offered.
PassSnap, the website, software, design, trademarks, and related materials are owned by Cnnex Limited Company or its licensors.
You retain rights to your own photos, subject to the limited rights needed for PassSnap to process, verify, export, store, transmit, and delete them according to your chosen features.
PassSnap is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not promise that any photo will be accepted by any government, employer, platform, or third party.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cnnex Limited Company will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from use of PassSnap.
We may update the service and these Terms over time. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the website, app, or another reasonable method.
We may suspend or terminate access if we believe these Terms have been violated or if continued access creates legal, security, or operational risk.
